Tiger Nation,
This is a friendly reminder that next week is Spring Break. Please take time to enjoy a much needed break from our day to day activities. When we return, we will be hard and heavy prepping for STAAR/EOC Tests, so rest up!
We will release school at 1:00 pm today.
Happy Friday!

Trace Sowell, a West Sabine High School Senior, recently competed with more than 4,900 applicants from around the nation in the National Beta Scholarship Program. From among those applicants, only approximately 5% were selected to receive a scholarship.
Trace was one of the applicants who has been awarded a scholarship to use at the school of his choice. He is the first student from West Sabine High School to receive this prestigious honor.
Congratulations Trace! 🎉🎉

To our Tigers and friends in forecasted areas,
Please use caution and care and follow the instructions of our Safety Leaders and Emergency Personnel.
Your safety is our concern.

Tiger Nation,
One of our dear families has lost their home in a tragic house fire last night. There are three kids in the family and we seek to help them.
We have designated the Leadership & Community Development Center as a staging area for the family's current need. Please see the flyer and assist where you can, if possible.
We ask that items be gently used as we seek to give our best to this family in their time of need.

🐅 Celebrating Teacher Excellence at West Sabine ISD! 🧡🖤
We are excited to share that the Texas Education Agency has approved West Sabine ISD to award new Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designations for the 2025–26 school year.
🎉 Eight teachers earned new or higher designations this year—an incredible testament to their dedication, effectiveness, and impact on student learning.
TEA will finalize new designations and allotments in late April, bringing our projected total to 13 designated teachers districtwide.
We are proud to recognize and invest in outstanding educators who make a difference for our students every day.

School Calendar: No Makeup Days Required!
There have been some questions since our closure about how the time would have to be "made up" or how it would affect our school year. But, the good news is these days will NOT require any make up time.
Thank you for your patience and support as we make decisions to keep students and staff safe!
