West Sabine ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent met recently to discuss the district need to fulfill a Long Range Facilities Plan, which will include several ongoing concerns of the district such as age, capacity, and condition of buildings; immediate needs and building assessments; current and future projects, if any; etc.
As a result of this meeting, the express interest of West Sabine ISD was to officially hear from all stakeholders in this matter, as we have been a listening ear to many community members in recent times regarding our facilities. The district decided to implement a Long Range Facilities Planning Committee comprised of parents, staff, taxpayers, community members, elected officials, etc., to build an ongoing plan that addresses and forecasts needs, provide effective feedback to the district, and communicate directly as a representation of our community members.
